Hello, everyone and welcome to one of our new Children’s Programs at North Creek Presbyterian. Our Family Community Groups have begun and we are reading through the Chronicles of Narnia together. This Fall we are reading The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe together.
Some of our families aren’t able to participate in a group but are still reading along with us. This blog is intended for those families, and anyone who is reading through The Chronicles of Narnia.
Each week this fall we will look at a different chapter of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe and see what we can learn from it, how it applies in real life and what it has to do with our Christian journey. I’d love to have other people get involved with this project and make videos or pictures of your journey through reading The Chronicles of Narnia. If you’d like to get involved and share a project please email, email@example.com.
Reading together as a family can be a trans formative experience when parents and children both enjoy the same story. It helps facilitate conversations between parents and kids and gives families an easy and natural connection point. If at all possible I really encourage you to make time each week to spend 20 to 30 minutes together reading as a family. It could be done around bedtimes, after dinner, or any other time that works well for your family.
If you’d like to join us on this adventure you can find a reading schedule here. I look forward to this journey with you and pray that God might use these books to draw your family closer to Himself.
